Boomerangs team selected for Easter Camp

With the INAS Global Games just six months away, a 20-man squad has been selected for the Boomerangs Easter Camp which will convene in Melbourne from April 3 – 6.

The fourth edition of the Global Games will be held in Ecuador with the Opening Ceremony taking place on September 20. It is the first time the Games have been held outside Europe. The Boomerangs finished fourth at the at the last Global Games in 2011 and most recently placed third at the 2013 World Championships in Turkey. The team is optimistic of featuring on the podium in Ecuador.

“We’d like to at least go one better than Turkey,” said Head Coach Simon Robinson with the majority of the squad having played together over the last two years.

The four-day camp aims to narrow the squad down to just over a dozen players before another final selection is made closer to September.
