Vale Roy Prosser

Basketball Australia would like to extend its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Roy Prosser.

Basketball WA is today mourning the loss of one of the great contributors to our sport. Roy Prosser passed away following a short illness on Tuesday March 16 2010.

Roy contributed to basketball in Western Australia as a Referee and Administrator for over 50 years.

As one of the leading referees in WA He officiated in International, National, State and Championship events. As an administrator his efforts as President of the WA Country Commission were outstanding.

Roy served the Sport on both the Council and Executive of BWA for the past 20 years. Life membership of BWA was an honor well deserved.
