FIBA Oceania U19 C'ships streaming LIVE online

Basketball fans will get the chance to see our next generation of Boomers and Jayco Opals talent in action at the 2012 FIBA Oceania Under 19 Championships, with all games to be broadcast live online.

Carley Mijovic and Dante Exum will be in action for Australia.

In a major coup for the tournament, starting on Thursday, Aussie fans will be a rare chance to see some of our brightest and best young talent in action as they take on New Zealand for the opportunity to qualify for next year’s FIBA Under 19 World Championships.

The Emus (men’s) U19 team shapes as one of the most exciting in recent memory, with the core of the squad that achieved a Silver Medal finish at the 2012 FIBA
Under 17 World Championships selected to take on their Kiwi rivals.

A host of WNBL talent will lead the Gems (women’s) U17 squad for the three-game series, with no less than six players on WNBL rosters to lead the charge on foreign soil.

The 2012 FIBA Oceania Under 19 Championships take place in Porirua, New Zealand from 20-22 September.
