Nathan Jawai and Anthony Mundine suit up for charity

See Boomer and NBA Star Nathan Jawai and Anthony 'The Man' Mundine team up on court at the 2nd Annual Hoop Dreaming Basketball Blitz.

In 2008, Australian Rugby League Representative Player Justin Hodges came back to Cairns and played for Team Hoop Dreaming which went on to beat the Cairns Marlins, 103-95 in the first ever HDP Charity Basketball Game.

In 2009, it gets even bigger with ‘The Man’ Anthony Mundine & NBA star Nathan Jawai making guest appearances for Team Hoop Dreaming as they once again take on the Cairns Marlins in the 2^nd Annual HDP Charity Basketball Game. 2009 Boomers squad member and Cairns Taipan Kerry Williams will also feature in the game among others.

The game will be held at The Fish Tank on Saturday June 6.

Mundine and Jawai have a history of playing basketball for charity. They have both taken the court in the Hoops 4 Health challenge games.
