Macram Romdhane was superb for the Tunisians, scoring 24 points on 11-of-14 shooting from the field, as well as 12 rebounds.

The Australians started well and led 14-12 at the first break.

By halftime the Australians still led narrowly, 32-29, and the Aussies also won the third quarter 16-13 to have a six-point edge at the final change, 48-42.

The Tunisians rolled over the Australians down the stretch however and won the final stanza 20-12 to clinch the match.

Despite the loss, the Australians can still make the final of the tournament if host nation and favourites China defeat Russia in their last preliminary game.
